“The largest drum crescendo consisted of 70 drum kits and was led by Pepe Sanchez (Spain) on the set of ‘Guinness World Records’, in Madrid, Spain, on 19 December 2008. Pepe Sanchez is a former GWR holder having held the record for the largest drum kit ensemble in 2001.”
