“The XR3, a three-wheeled plug-in hybrid that achieves 125 mpg on diesel power alone, 225 mpg on combined diesel and electric power. It can carry two-passenger in this three-wheeled hybrid. It is designed to be as light as possible. At just 1480 pounds, this high-performance design combines fast acceleration, and featuring its hybrid system allows for 200 mpg. The choice of operating mode: diesel-only, battery-electric-only, or hybrid – is operator selectable by flipping a pair of switches. When operating on just the 23 hp diesel engine, the trike achieves 125 mpg. The li-ion battery pack is good for 40 miles.” w/ photos
