Students Take Joyride Through School
06/20/09 - Pretty Cool

“It was an audacious end-of-term prank – racing two cars down a school corridor during lesson time. Oli Stavrakakis and Ben Wilson, both 18, propped open the front doors of their secondary school and sped down the main corridor, known to pupils as The Street. The A-level students may have touched nearly 20mph, crashing into walls, doors and pillars, while classmates and teachers jumped out of the way. The caper was finally stopped when horrified headmaster Tim Gilson called the police – who arrested the two boys. Both have been cautioned for causing criminal damage. They have also been suspended by the school, although they have been allowed back to sit their A-levels.” w/ photos
