“One of our intrepid readers caught a photo of this solar tricycle in Palo Alto, California and figured it’d be a shoe-in for an Autopia WTF? contest. He was right. It appears that someone with a better knowledge of welding than aesthetics decided to combine the front half of a cheap, two-stroke motorbike and the rear half of a utility trailer. To top it off, a pivoting photovoltaic panel provides power and protection for the rider when it swings up to create a battery charger that doubles as a roof.” w/ photo
