Skydivers Parachute Into The Record Books

October 6, 2008

“Two Britons entered the record books yesterday after completing the first parachute jump over Everest. Holly Budge and Neil Jones - along with New Zealander Wendy Smith - enjoyed a minute-long freefall after jumping from 29,500ft. They used breathing equipment, extra-thick parachutes and special suits to deal with the thin air and sub-zero temperatures.” w/ photos
