“Around the period when Street Fighter II had made it’s rise in the arcades in the early 90’s few knew that unlicensed 8-bit versions of the game had been released on the Nintendo Famicom. Capcom had never released a Nintendo 8-bit version of SFII, so other small companies were trying to capitalize on the craze. Versions of the game were released under the name,”Master Fighter,” but Yoko had released the game as “Street Fighter II.” Arguably the best and the rarest version of the game.” w/ photos (scroll down)
