The Scubacraft – a boat that can dive underneath the water – is open for orders and can be driven off and under by regular customers from next year – provided they’ve got a spare $150,000. The distinctive yellow boat is capable of speeds of up to 50 miles per hour on water. But with the flick of a switch it can transform into a submersible that can dive to depths of up to 30m (100ft) thanks to a specially designed trimaran hull… It is powered by a jet propulsion system, and features surface and underwater communications as well as an on-board air supply.
