“A new washing machine uses just a single cup of water to clean an entire load of clothes, saving a ton of both water and energy every time its used. The secret? Little plastic chips that it uses to absorb the dirt from your clothes. The water is heated up enough to dissolve the dirt, then the chips absorb it.
