Dentist Removes Painful Tooth From Gorilla
08/29/08 - Amazing

“This is the amazing moment one of the world’s only specialist zoo dentists goes to work removing a 3-inch painful tooth from the mouth of a giant gorilla. Dr Peter Kertesz spent two hours removing a broken canine which was causing serious toothache to Petinax, a silverback Western gorilla. The hefty primate, who tops the scales at 28 stone (179 kg), was heavily sedated by his keepers before a team of them lifted him into the dentist’s chair for the work.” w/ photos
