“Hopes for an effective male Pill rose last night after scientists identified a genetic defect that causes infertility in some men. The faulty gene affects the movement of sperm and means they cannot penetrate the egg in order to fertilise it. The finding could be used to treat men with this rare form of infertility, and some believe it could allow scientists to develop a contraceptive pill for men.” w/ photos
