Big 3D Face Mask

“I made this as my costume for Halloween 2009. It was kind of inspired by big-head mode seen in videogames. I really wanted to get the faceted geosphere look with wireframe.” w/ photos (scroll right)

NYC Spaghetti

“What a brilliant use of packaging to create something so much more than the product itself: “I created this spaghetti packaging for a university project last year. The brief was to package one of 5 difficult items i.e. eggs, a rose, custard powder, spaghetti or marbles. I chose spaghetti. The spaghetti sits on a 3d model of the Chrysler building that was modeled on CAD by my friend Ben Thorpe. And then modeled out of high density foam at uni. The Sexiest Fireplace Ever
“Sit back, relax, and enjoy the fire (and the view!) while the sexy Jingle Belles keep you warm and cozy on a cold winters night. The Jingle Belles DVD contains a real wood-burning fireplace tended by the Jingle Belles, who are busy getting ready for the holidays. These sexy ladies appear, and they stoke the fire and warm themselves by the heat of the roaring flames. The girls even add logs to keep the fire burning all night long!”

Huge Beach Dance Flash Mob
“This beach scene looks like it’s straight out of a cheesy, fun surfing movie from the sixties. Could’ve done without the red banana hammock, though.”
The Computer That Sent World’s 1st Email

“The very first message to be sent between two computers – a breakthrough that helped usher in the internet and Mail Online – was sent exactly 40 years ago. And to mark the occasion, celebrities, computer experts and entrepreneurs joined the man behind that first message for a bit of a party. UCLA professor Leonard Kleinrock said: ‘It’s the 40th year since the infant internet first spoke. On October 29, 1969, Kleinrock led a team that got a computer at UCLA to ‘talk’ to one at a research institute. ‘It feels to me like the alumni meeting of the framers of the US Constitution,’ Electronic Frontier Foundation co-founder John Perry Barlow said as he addressed the gathering. ‘There are a lot of people in this room who are honest to God uncles and aunts of the internet. What you did is conceivably the most important technological event since the capture of fire.” w/ photos
