“It looks good enough to eat – but this is one Christmas pudding you certainly wouldn’t want to cover in flaming brandy. The 20ft-high creation was the idea of Roger and Valerie Holley. It is made of two 25-year-old conifers which Mr Holley, 60, merged together. He and his wife, 64, spent five years pruning the trees in front of their home in Yeovil, Somerset to perfect the round shape.” w/ photos
